ABOUT ME
Diksha is a licensed physical therapist assistant and board-certified strength and conditioning specialist located in the San Francisco Bay Area. She received her technical degree from Gurnick Academy of Medical Arts and completed her bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara in Biological Anthropology with minors in Applied Psychology and Exercise & Sport Studies. She completed her internships with UCSB’s intercollegiate division sport athletics, SF 49ers athletics, and Bay Area local high school sport team athletics and has since continued to work in the outpatient/inpatient setting, treating a variety of patients along with multi interdisciplinary care teams.
Diksha uses a combined approach of manual therapy and specific therapeutic exercise to help her patients move better, perform better, and return better. She is passionate about applying S&C modalities in the rehab setting, with the emphasis of retraining the body as a whole, and not just the area of discomfort. She has worked with a diverse caseload of patients of all ages ranging from professional/amateur, weekend warrior, para, young, and senior athletes. She is a volunteer emergency medical responder for the USA Fencing Association. She is also professionally fluent in Hindi and Spanish. Currently, Diksha is self employed under her own company and sees patients at their home. In her spare time, Diksha enjoys dancing, martial arts, traveling, and cooking!
